We Need
Your Voice for this latest lame duck watchdog
initiative...

Dream Catcher Films,
Inc. joins Robert Redford and the NRDC Action
Fund in their efforts to put the brakes on a
disastrous scheme planned by the lame duck Bush
Administration. Left unchecked, the Bush
Administration will complete the auction of
160,000 acres of Utah's Redrock wilderness to
oil and gas speculators before Inauguration Day
- a schedule which will make land sales
difficult to reverse. These lands are among the
crown jewels of our natural heritage.
The auction of Redrock country,
which is scheduled for Friday, December 19,
will include world-renowned vistas near
Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, as well
as near Dinosaur National Monument. The highest
bidders will earn the right to turn vast tracts
of pristine wilderness into industrial
wastelands.
The stakes are high. With
just a few minutes of time on the Internet,
Americans who care about the environment, and
the legacy that will be left for future
generations, can band together and stop this
action - but they have to act
fast. Dream Catcher Films, Inc.,
Robert Redford and the NRDC Action Fund
strongly urge Americans to register their
protests online today. The process that has
been set up on the Internet is fast and easy -
one can lodge their protest to Congress rapidly

Dream
Catcher Films, Inc., is the sponsor of a "Lame
Duck Watchdog Initiative", which is derived
from Finding Our
Voices, an award-winning
documentary narrated by Martin Sheen that is
about the value of peaceful dissent in our
democracy. This film dramatically illustrates
one of President-elect Barack Obama's themes,
"Your voice can change the world." This
initiative was inspired by a nightly feature on
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Show. The documentary's
website, which includes a trailer and
background information on Iraq war protests by
citizens including Congressman Jim Moran,
Reverend Graylan Hagler, and two Iraq War
veterans, is
